SCHIZOPHRENIA

Schizophrenia (stgr. , Shizen, "cleave" and stgr. , -, phrn, phren-, "mind") - a mental disorder included in the group of endogenous psychosis, which is a condition characterized by the lesion, inadequate perception, experiencing, reception and assessment of reality. Persons who are unable to psychosis have seriously impaired the ability of critical, realistic assessment of his own people, the environment and relationships with others, and may even not be able to it. There are several forms of schizophrenia, depending on the prevailing symptoms of schizophrenia distinguished: paranoid, hebephrenic, catatonic, simple residual undifferentiated. In Poland, the most commonly diagnosed form is paranoid.
